We are a high school robotics team located in the St. Louis area, otherwise known as the FIRST Robotics Team Rambunction 4330! Every year we design, prototype, build, and test a robot to compete in FRC competitions. We first competed in 2011, so this is our seventh year in the running. Our team has been growing in size since our founding, and new members are always welcome!
Since we began our journey in FIRST, we've won a few awards. In 2015, we became alliance captains for the first time ever, and led our alliance to the finals! In 2016, we took first place at the Saint Louis Regional Competition and competed in the FIRST Championship, for the first time in our team's history. This past year was rough on us since we had our working space in the shop cut in half (due to ongoing school renovations). However, we've experimented with new mechanisms and technologies we hadn't tried previously, like a reservoir and shooter for balls, and LiDAR technology to map the robot's surroundings; not to mention a completely overhauled team system! Although many of these didn't make the cut onto our robot, we still made it into the elimination rounds, and more importantly, we've gained valuable experience and knowledge, so that we can create an even better robot this year!
We meet every Wednesday after school from 2:30 to 4:00, from late October to before build season begins.
Once build season starts, we meet every weekday from 2:30 to at least 5:00.
